40/30 Meter Vertical Antenna is a high performance
dual
band pile-up buster that is tunable to operate with an SWR of 1.5:1 or
less across both bands. The maximum power rating assures solid performance
- particularly on CW, and the digital modes so popular on 30
meters!
The massive fiberglass channel insulator supporting the
rugged structural grade type 6063-T832 drawn aluminum antenna radiator has over
twice the tensile and flexural strength of competitive nylon materials, and is
superior for its RF handling characteristics.
Designed with rugged 6063
heat treated, corrosion-resistant aluminum tubing and stainless steel hardware,
this antenna is very durable, free standing, attractive, and is an optimized
height of less than 30 feet!

performance on both bands - no compromise!
This is the
perfect solution for the DXer who has not been able to enjoy top performance on
the 30 meter band! Now, both 40 and 30 in one antenna - no
bandswitching! Now you can hear and work the weak ones!
Of
course, another key to performance is a good ground radial system. 32 radials,
32 feet long are recommended. Fewer radials will work, but with diminished
results.

The DXE-4030VA-1 features a laser-cut stainless steel tilt base assembly, not aluminum and painted steel used by others.
The massive fiberglass channel insulator supporting the rugged structural grade type 6063-T832 drawn aluminum antenna radiator has over twice the tensile and flexural strength of competive nylon materials, and is superior for its RF handling characteristics.
The overall maximum length of the radiating element is 30 feet, with a single trap - making it resonant in both the 40 and 30 meter bands for fantastic DX performance. You get full-size performance on both bands - no bandswitching!
All hardware fasteners are stainless steel, not common steel bolts - and the element clamps are all-stainless steel , not stainless with common steel screws.
The DXE-4030VA-1 vertical antenna system includes the antenna elements, mounting plate, tilt-base, balun, stainless steel hardware and clamps.

All products manufactured by DX Engineering are warranted to be free from
defects in material and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from date of
shipment. DX Engineering's sole obligation under these warranties shall be to
issue credit, repair, or replace any item or part thereof which is proved to be
other than as warranted; no allowance shall be made for any labor charges of
Buyer for replacement of parts, adjustments or repairs, or any other work,
unless such charges are authorized in advance by DX Engineering.
If DX
Engineering's products are claimed to be defective in material or workmanship,
DX Engineering shall, upon prompt notice thereof, issue shipping instructions
for return to DX Engineering (transportation-charges prepaid by Buyer). Every
such claim for breach of these warranties shall be deemed to be waived by Buyer
unless made in writing.
The above warranties shall not extend to any
products or parts thereof which have been subjected to any misuse or neglect,
damaged by accident, rendered defective by reason of improper installation,
damaged from severe weather including floods, or abnormal enviromental
conditions such as prolonged exposure to corrosives or power surges, or by the
performance of repairs or alterations outside of our plant, and shall not apply
to any goods or parts thereof furnished by Buyer or acquired from others at
Buyer's specifications. In addition, DX Engineering's warranties do not extend
to other equipment and parts manufactured by others except to the extent of the
original manufacturer's warranty to DX Engineering. The obligations under the
foregoing warranties are limited to the precise terms thereof. These warranties
provide exclusive remedies, expressly in lieu of all other remedies including
claims for special or consequential damages.
