20m 3-Element Yagi Plans

Below are the plans for building your own 3-element beam for use on 20m.

The Reflector element was designed using Yagi Mechanical software available for purchase and download from www.dxengineering.com

The wind speed survivability is 79.5 mph.



The length of the elements can be determined by using antenna design software such as EZNEC or the NEC or MININEC based software of your choice.

Below is shown the mechanical specs of all of the elements.

Element Dimensions

The Red dimensions on the top of the Reflector and Director elements refer to the use of a 6-inch piece of .625-inch tubing (3-inches on a side, as shown) to connect the two halves of the element for those elements.

Naturally, the Driven element does not have this connection.
