Ameritron ARI-500 Amplifier Radio Band Change and Keying Interfaces are designed to automatically select the correct frequency range on the Ameritron ALS-500M, ALS-600 series and ALS-1300 amplifiers by reading data from the transceiver. They also provide keying line connection from the transceiver to the amplifier. They are compatible with most ICOM, Yaesu, and Kenwood transceivers. Now, you can install your amplifier out of the way in your trunk, at the back of your motor home, or in another room, using one of these Ameritron ARI-500 radio interface units at your operating position. A full compliment of Ameritron Amplifier Radio Interface Cables are available to connect many popular transceiver models.

IF you can use the Ameritron ARI-500 interface, then you DO NOT need an Ameritron ARB-704. The cables for these devices are unique and are not interchangeable.

Features of the Ameritron ARI-500 Amplifier Radio Band Change and Keying Interfaces include:

* Power: green LED indicates that the amplifier and transceiver are connected correctly
* Link: red LED indicates information being received from the transceiver
* Radio: RJ-45 jack for interfacing to the transceiver
* AMP A/B: RJ-45 jack
