DX Engineering Telescoping Fiberglass Tubing Kits are constructed from seven pieces of high-quality, smoothly telescoping fiberglass tubing. Each section of the pultruded fiberglass tubing is 96 in. long and has a heavy-duty 1/8 in. wall thickness. The four larger diameter sections have four slits on one end and the next two smaller sized tubing sections have two slits on one end for securing with compression clamps. The top section has no slits. When fully assembled, the DX Engineering Telescoping Fiberglass Tubing Kits can reach up to 50 ft. tall, with rope guying required at four levels. Suitable for a variety of applications, their length is completely adjustable by telescoping the elements inward or removing smaller sections. They can be used to make various vertical antennas with a single radiating wire threaded up through them, or to support light-duty dipoles. Some hams love to experiment with different lightweight wire antennas and these Telescoping Fiberglass Tubing Kits offer a versatile light-duty support.
DX Engineering Telescoping Fiberglass Tubing Kits include stainless steel band clamps to keep the telescoping sections properly clamped into position. Add DX Engineering Guy Rings and Vertical Antenna Guy Kits for a versatile and stable vertical fiberglass tubing installation.
Telescoping Fiberglass Tubing Kits should not be used without guying ropes, and are not intended to be used as permanent support masts. See our selection of ROHN Telescopic Masts (one is UPS shippable) made with Galvanized Steel, for the support of heavy wire antennas and small vertical and beam antennas.
