DX Engineering super-duty saddle clamps are designed for applications where maximum torque is needed to control large or unbalanced antenna arrays, or for other applications where other torque control products have proven inadequate. Super-duty saddle clamps are made in sizes that fit the outside diameter of the aluminum and steel tubing used in antenna construction. Super-duty saddle clamps are constructed from two A356-T6 cast aluminum saddles with a cast stainless steel reinforcement plate for high strength and superior corrosion resistance. Unlike stamped or machined-type clamps, their rippled surface is the correct size to fit the tubing closely and will grip the aluminum tubing for a secure fit that resists the ravages of weather. Due to the wide variety of clamping applications where DX Engineering super-duty saddle clamps would be beneficial, mounting hardware is not included.
