MFJ 267 dummy loads are one of the world's most versatile 1.5 kW dummy loads that feature a built-in, true peak-reading SWR/wattmeter that you can switch and use independently! You'll find tons of uses for them. Tune up your transceiver, linear amplifier, or antenna tuner to a safe 50 ohm dummy load at full power. Then instantly switch to your antenna and monitor SWR (1:1 to 8:1), forward, and reflected power simultaneously through the extra-large 3 in. illuminated cross-needle meter. Use them for testing/tuning transmitters, transceivers, amplifiers, antenna tuners, baluns, transformers, filters, matching networks, coax, stubs, transmission lines, and antennas. MFJ 267 50 ohm dry dummy loads work DC to 60 MHz. SWR is below 1.3:1 at 30 MHz. They can handle 100 watts for 10 minutes or 1,500 watts for 10 seconds and come with a power derating curve. They read true-peak PEP or average power on 300/3,000 watts forward and 60/600 watts on reflected power ranges of 1.8-54 MHz. The MFJ 267 dummy loads' high accuracy comes from a carefully designed directional coupler, an accurate active-peak reading circuit, and precision D'Arsonval meter movement. Their perforated aluminum cabinet is RF tight.
