Overview

DX Engineering TW Antenna 5-Band Globetrotter Packages

DX Engineering is now the manufacturer of TW Antennas! Our DX Engineering TW Antenna 5-Band Globetrotter Packages preserve and build upon the legacy of this premier HF-stealth and portable antenna maker.

Covering all bands from 20 through 10 meters, including WARC, DX Engineering Globetrotter antennas may be remotely band-switched (from the shack) to cover any of the five high bands.

DXE-TW-2010-P-P Globetrotter packages include everything you need! The package is comprised of the basic antenna structure, the switchable band box, a 65.5 ft. control cable, controller console and permanent antenna mount.

The included DXE-TW-PMP permanent mount lets you set up your DX Engineering HF Portable TW Antenna wherever it's convenient. Being naturally stealthy, these compact HF vertical-dipole antennas feature a black powdercoat finish that is excellent for concealment. They make great fixed antennas in HOAs or where "CC and R" antenna restrictions preclude the installation of towers or easily visible HF antennas.

It couldn't be much easier: Simply unfold the Globetrotter Top and Bottom Sections, add your Band Box Center Post section, and place the antenna on the stationary ground mount (DXE-TW-PMP) run your choice of coax and operate! No radials are required for these vertical dipoles!

Typical installation for TW Antennas is a compact 8.25 ft. tall and only 5 ft. wide. Equip yourself with the best multi-band compact, stealth vertical-dipole antennas available.

Note: Although a permanently-installed mount is available, DX Engineering TW Antenna band boxes are not waterproof. Do not leave your TW Antenna exposed to the elements without adequate and durable weather protection for the band box.

NOTE: Some older versions of the TW Antennas are not compatible with current production parts. The original manufacturer of TW Antennas had changed the design more than once and newer parts will not fit some older models. Call DX Engineering to verify if your old TW Antenna will be compatible with currently produced parts and assemblies.
