4O3A RS3000 Reversible Switch Controllers

4O3A RS3000 Reversible Switch Controllers are designed to improve the safety and efficiency of the RS3000 2x2 Reversible Coaxial Crossover Switch system. They ensure switching between radios and antennas only occurs when neither connected radio is transmitting, preventing accidental switching if one user begins transmitting while the other is still on the air. This makes it ideal for SO2R (Single Operator, Two Radios), MS (Multi-Single), or M2 (Multi-Two) contest configurations.

These switch controllers operate on 13–15VDC input. A 3-pin DC output (5.08 mm pin header) connects to the RS3000 Crossover Switch. Before use, connect the PTT lines from both radios to the controller’s RCA jacks. The controller connects to the RS3000 switch via the +12V/GND terminals. If a user attempts to switch while the other is transmitting, the controller delays the switch until the PTT line is inactive. During this delay, the "Wait" LED is illuminated. This ensures safe switching regardless of transmission frequency.
