Toptek Communications PA-200V Series VHF 144-148 MHz 200W Power Amplifiers

Toptek Communications PA-200V Series VHF 144-148 MHz 200W Power Amplifiers are high-power linear amplifiers designed for Amateur Radio 2 Meter All-Mode operations on FM, SSB, and CW. Amplify your 2-meter transceiver to 200 watts maximum output.

The TEK-PA-200V/C operates with 5 to 50 watts input from your Mobile or Base Transceiver, with approximately 25 watts required for full output. They have a built-in low noise 15 dB GaAs FET receive pre-amplifier to increase weak incoming signals. These power amplifiers run on 13.8 V DC at 25 amps (power supply not included.) Output power is detected by a built-in precision micro-strip line coupler that is tied to a monolithic IC LED driver. The 5-segment LED bar graph indicates a Full Scale reading of 150-200 watt output. A sixth red LED segment serves as a Fault Protection Indicator. NOTE: This amplifier is not intended for FT8 or other digital mode continuous key-down operations.

PA-200V/C Series VHF Amplifiers have these important features:

* Automatic fault protection for SWR over 2:1
* Built-in low-noise receive preamplifier, with nominal 15 dB gain
* Rear panel PTT Input for proper keyed operation in SSB, CW, and Digital Modes (3.5mm Tip=PTT Ground To TX; Sleeve-Ring=Shield-Chassis Ground; mono or stereo plug).
* RF sense keying for FM mode (PTT connection not required for FM)
* Mode switch for automatic SSB delay and peak power metering
* Amplifier Input Range and Standby Maximum Bypass:

* SO-239 UHF female connectors, 50 ohm input and output
* Permanently attached 24 in. (60cm) DC power cable, unterminated
