VE2DX Electronics Band Decoders

VE2DX Electronics Band Decoders, available here in limited final production quantities, with three versions. They can be set up to control remote relay antenna switches and band pass filters by interfacing to a wide range of transceivers via direct connection, Bluetooth, USBoIP via WiFi and/or direct WiFi/LAN connections, when available. They interface to transceivers to decode up to twelve user defined frequency bands for the control of either eight or sixteen outputs and may be updated for band changes or new band arrival.

VEX-BD1-BT Band Decoders interface with one radio and provide one set of eight outputs to automatically control a single remote multiport antenna switch OR a band pass filter (BPF).

VEXD1-BTPlus Band Decoders interface a single radio to two sets of eight outputs to automatically control a remote antenna switch AND a Band Pass Filter.

IBD2-BT Band Decoder is the top-of-the-line unit that can interface with a dual receiver transceiver and offers two sets of eight outputs to either automatically control two remote antenna switches, or two Band Pass Filters, or one of each.


VE2DX Electronics Band Decoders are powered via a USB-C port to a Windows PC. Internal jumpers are user set to control output functions and configure support transceivers from FlexRadio, ICOM, Kenwood and Yaesu.
