Palstar LA-1K HF Amplifier

The Palstar LA-1K 1000W HF Amplifier is a solid-state unit equipped with dual LDMOS transistors (Laterally-Diffused Metal Oxide Semiconductors), providing full output at a nominal 40 to 55 watts input. This amplifier features RF sensing for automatic band changing, so a transceiver band interface cable is not needed. The LA-1K will work with a wide variety of tuners and transceivers. It's custom-designed as the perfect functional match for the very popular Palstar HF-AUTO Auto Tuner. This amplifier has a newly designed gray front panel and has a color TFT touch screen for amplifier display and operation.

Palstar LA-1K features three SO-239 (UHF female) antenna output connectors, phono keying and ALC connectors, instant band changing, T/R Vacuum relay, and a "Pure Signal" output. Although not required due to RF sense band changing capability, transceiver interface connectors are also provided on the rear panel. With its built-in 50Vdc, 42A power supply, the LA-1K operates on 120 Vac at 15A or 240 Vac at 10A.

The LA-1K far exceeded all FCC testing standards at an FCC-certified laboratory, and it provides exceptionally clean and efficient RF amplification for any HF transceiver or transmitter for all Amateur bands 160 through 6 meters.
