Antennas-Amplifiers 5970 6 meter 4 kW Low-Loss Band Pass Filters are designed for high-performance operation in demanding RF environments. Built with precision high Q inductors and capacitors (Q > 4000), the filter achieves exceptionally low insertion loss through careful engineering and tuning. Intended to be used with linear amplifiers 8877, GS35, GS31, 2xGI7B, and with other tubes with up to 4 kW output.

When placed ahead of sensitive front-end equipment, it provides effective protection and signal conditioning, shielding LNAs such as the PGA 103+ from strong out-of-band signals while improving the performance of wideband SDR receivers on the 6 meter band. It is well suited for challenging applications including DX expeditions and multi multi station environments, offering strong suppression of harmonics (100 MHz, 150 MHz, and higher), reducing HF interference, and minimizing out-of-band noise across a wide frequency range.
