Chameleon Antenna SOTA Activation Zone Model 2 Portable HF Antennas were designed specifically for the demanding conditions and constraints encountered during Summits on the Air (SOTA) activations or other extreme outdoor radio sports. The CHA SOTA AZ-2 will operate on 40, 30, and 20 meters and does not require an antenna tuner. When packed, it is small and light weight, and it can be used on summits that do not have trees using an operator supplied 10-15ft. telescopic mast or other suitable support.

Both Near Vertical Incident Skywave (NVIS) propagation and DX communication are supported by this antenna. The CHA SOTA AZ-2 by Chameleon Antenna comes pre-assembled, ready-to go, and sets a new standard for radio sport antennas.
