Ameritron HF Power Amplifiers

Ameritron AL-811HD amplifiers, with four rugged 572B tubes, give you 800 watts PEP output for that extra punch needed when 100 watt transceivers just aren't enough to be heard. Heavy duty components allow for operation at 600 watts continuous output on CW, RTTY, SSTV, FM, and AM operation! Ameritron AL-811HD amplifiers feature grid overload protection to protect the tubes from excessive grid current due to mistuning and excessive drive power.

AL-811HD amplifiers cover all HF bands, 160 through 15 meters. You can get 10 and 12 meter operation instructions with proof of a valid US Amateur Radio license. There's no compromise on WARC and most MARS bands--you get 100 percent rated output. You can operate AL-811HD amplifiers on all modes. Get 800 watts output PEP SSB and 600 watts output on CW, RTTY, SSTV, FM, and AM.

These amplifiers have exceptional cooling with a powerful 20 cfm computer-grade fan--not an open frame phonograph motor--that draws in cool air to pressurize the cabinet and efficiently cool the 572B tubes for an extra-long life.
