The Begali Adventure Dual-Lever Key was created to give you the finest possible code sending experience while using your portable radio. The base of this small iambic paddle is made from stainless steel, the arms and finger pieces are made from a lightweight aircraft aluminum alloy, several components are gold plated, and the contacts are solid gold. The contact spacing can be adjusted with the oval backstop. The Adventure Dual-Lever Key uses magnets to create the return force which can be adjusted by the golden thumb screw on the bottom. You will also see two precision bearings for the arms. The ADVENTURE includes a permanently attached cable terminated to a standard 3.5mm TRS male plug for the keyer jack of the transceiver.

The Adventure Dual-Lever Key requires either a DESKTOP BASE or a portable radio-specific magnetic mounting bracket, each sold separately.

For all portable radio and base operations, the Adventure Key may be attached to the optional magnetic DESKTOP BASE to use the key detached from the radio on a desktop or on any metallic surface. The combined weight of the key and the base is about half a pound - so, if you have a heavy hand and no metallic surface for the base magnets, you can use the mounting holes in the base to secure it in place.

For portable operations, the Adventure Key can be attached to your radio with an optional radio specific magnetic mounting bracket, which lets you swivel the key at an arbitrary angle for maximum comfort in right-handed or left-handed operation. Optional portable radio mounting brackets are available for the Elecraft KX3 and KX2, KX1, the Icom IC-705, and the Yaesu FT-817 and FT-818, arriving at DX Engineering soon.
