All fixed parts of the Sculpture Arrow are made from AISI-304 stainless steel – a nearly indestructible material that can only be shaped to this perfection with specialized machinery and tools. The Sculpture Arrow Stainless Steel is polished to a finish that should stay perfect for a lifetime. However, unlike plated surfaces, this type of stainless steel allows the removal of blemishes with an exceptionally fine abrasive compound such as green jeweler’s rouge or car polish, to maintain its beautiful sheen.

The Sculpture Arrow Straight Key also features the fine adjustments of Begali’s best paddles. Its massive arm with a Navy-style knob is suspended in racing bearings for the utmost agility. The return force on the arm is created by two independently adjustable magnets, one attracting and one repelling. By using two opposing magnets, a force characteristic can be created that is virtually constant - something that cannot be done with a single magnet or a spring. With a bit of experimentation, you can create a force curve that is perfectly matched to your own sending style and speed!

Solid silver contacts (925/1000 Sterling Silver), not plated contacts, are a standard feature on the Sculpture Arrow. The bottom of the stainless steel base has a unique rubber ring to prevent slippage, but it will be pretty hard to get this 5.5 pound (2.5kg) heavy weight straight key to slide around on your table. Four adhesive rubber feet are included if you prefer a taller base.
