All fixed parts of the Sculpture Mono are made from AISI-316 stainless steel – a specific grade of austenitic chromium-nickel-molybdenum stainless steel known for its superior resistance to corrosion. This nearly indestructible material can only be shaped to this perfection with specialized machinery and tools. For this version, the Sculpture Mono Stainless Steel is polished to a finish that should stay perfect for a lifetime. However, unlike plated surfaces, this type of stainless steel allows the removal of blemishes with an exceptionally fine abrasive compound such as green jeweler’s rouge or car polish, to maintain its beautiful sheen.

The Sculpture Mono features the fine adjustments of Begali’s best paddles. Its single arm is made from anodized aircraft aluminum, which actuates two secondary levers with massive 14k gold contacts - the best available anywhere. This architecture results in a self-centering arm movement of extreme agility. The return force can be set independently for each side with repelling magnets, allowing stable and fine adjustments that are impossible with springs. The resulting minimal moving mass, in combination with the highest grade racing bearings, results in a responsiveness and precision that is not found in any other single lever paddle.
