DX Engineering MBVE-1 HF Multi-Band Vertical Antennas
DX Engineering MBVE-1 HF Multi-Band Vertical Antennas are 43 ft., high performance, 160 through 10 meter vertical multi-band antennas.
These antennas feature massive EXTREN® channel insulators that won't crack, splinter, peel, or fail. They have over twice the tensile and flexural strength of competitive nylon plastic materials and are superior for their RF handling characteristics. Their rugged structural grade type 6063-T832 drawn aluminum radiator with the fast taper element design provides the lowest wind resistance and allows them to handle wind speeds of up to 92 mph. All stainless steel hardware and structural-grade 6063-T832 aluminum tubing provides high strength and superior weather resistance.
These antennas require the use of DX Engineering UNUN and RG-213 coax feedline. A good ground radial system of 32 radials 65 ft. long is recommended for optimum performance. Fewer radials will work, but with diminished results.
The DX Engineering MBVE-1 HF Multi-Band Vertical Antennas include the antenna element, mounting plates, tilt base, stainless steel hardware, and clamps.
