DX Engineering Watertight Snap-N-Seal® Coaxial Connectors

DX Engineering Watertight Snap-N-Seal® Coaxial Connectors are environmentally sealed CATV F-Type coax connectors built and designed for harsh environments. They have a unique 360 degree radial compression system that offers the signal leakage protection required for high performance receive systems.

Snap-N-Seal® Coaxial Connectors are color coded for different size cables and are NOT interchangeable. Choose from these two compression connector sizes carefully for your specific cable:

- Purple is for DXE-6UQ Quad Shield RG-6 cable ONLY
- Blue is for DXE-6UF or F6 Flooded cable ONLY

Both F connector sizes are installed with Compression Tool model DXE-SNS-CT1.


Watertight Snap-N-Seal® Coaxial Connectors feature:

* UV-resistant plastic and O-rings provide a reliable environmentally sealed connection
* Compression sealed system that prevents moisture from migrating into the connection
* 360 degree radial compression provides superior RF integrity (-95 dB typical, 60 percent bonded foil cable)
* Easy cable separation
* Connector to cable retention of 40 lbs. minimum
* Superb impedance match to 1 GHz
* Manufactured from high quality 360 brass and cadmium plated with iridescent clear chromate coating for maximum corrosion resistance

NOTE: F connectors are used only for receive systems. They are NOT rated for transmit systems and do not have power ratings.
