The DX Engineering Tilt Base Adapter Plate, model DXE-TBP-1, is used in various antenna applications with the original DX Engineering Tilt Base. The DXE-TBP-1 Adapter Plate and the DXE-1071 Insulated Channel are attached together and to the Tilt Base using the DXE-MBV-1HWK Hardware Kit. Special U-bolts, model DXE-MBV-200S, mount 2-inch OD aluminum tubing antenna elements to the channel. The DXE-TBP-1 Tilt Base Adapter Plate is offered here as a replacement part and can also be used with the DXE-1071 as a backing plate, as described below*.

For vertical antenna projects the DXE-VA-BASE offers all of these parts in a complete, insulated vertical antenna tilt base kit.
