Hy-Gain HAM-IV Rotator and Controller Combo Kits
Hy-Gain HAM-IV Rotator and Controller Combo Kits are the most popular rotator combos in the world! They are designed for medium-communication arrays with up to a 15 sq. ft. of wind load area.
Low temperature grease permits normal operation down to -30 degrees Fahrenheit. Alloy ring gears give extra strength up to 100,000 psi for maximum reliability. These rotators have dual 98-ball bearing races for load-bearing strength, and an electric locking steel wedge brake prevents wind-induced antenna movement.
HAM-IV rotator controllers feature an indicating potentiometer, ferrite beads to reduce RF susceptibility, a Cinch plug connector, and 8-pin plugs at the control box.
These rotator controllers also feature a North or South center of rotations scale and low voltage control for safety. The maximum mast size is 2-1/16 in.
