Hustler Base Model G7-220 Vertical Antennas
Hustler Base Model G7-220 Vertical Antennas are specially designed to achieve the lowest possible radiation angle and maximum efficiency on 1-1/4 meters.
G7-220 antennas utilize a 5/8 wave lower, 5/8 wave middle, and a 5/8 wave upper collinear radiator that have all been spaced for optimum low-angle radiation. These antennas also feature shunt-fed matching and DC grounding for static surge protection.
Hustler Antenna base model G7-220 vertical antennas are totally self-supporting and are easily assembled. When they are disassembled, the longest part is approximately 4 ft., which makes them easy to handle and move. Made of the highest-quality materials for maximum durability and weather resistance, they have a wind survival rating of up to 100 mph.
Since they are a sufficiently broadband antenna, when set to the dimensions shown in the instruction sheet these antennas should require no further adjustments. Their total useable bandwidth is more than 6-MHz. with SWR under 1.5:1 without any degradation of gain. That makes these antennas ideal for duplex operation.
