MFJ-250 VersaLoad 1-KW Wet Dummy Loads

MFJ-250 VersaLoad 1-KW Wet Dummy Loads let you tune up fast! You can apply:

* 1-KW CW or 2-KW PEP for 10 up to minutes
* 500 watts CW or 1-KW PEP for 20 minutes
* 200 watts CW or 400 Watts PEP continuous duty

These dummy loads have a de-rating curve that allows you to match your maximum output with maximum key-down time.

The design of these dummy loads uses a high-quality 50-ohm non-inductive resistor. One gallon of transformer oil is included with this dummy load and is added to the can during set-up. Modern transformer oil is a better heat conductor and safer than other common forms of oil.

MFJ-250 Dummy Loads exhibit very low VSWR:

* Under 1.2:1 from 1.8-30 MHz
* Approximately 1.5:1 from 30-300 MHz
* Approximately 2:1 from 300-400 MHz

These dummy loads are deal for testing and tuning both HF and VHF rigs. They feature an SO-239 (UHF female) connector and are vented for safety. Their vent cap is removable, if needed, and a handy dummy load carrying handle is included. Dimensions are 7.5-in. high by 6.625-in. diameter.
