MFJ 993BRT IntelliTuner™ Remote Automatic Antenna Tuners

MFJ 993BRT IntelliTuner ™ Automatic Antenna Tuners are complete 300 watt SSB/CW remote automatic antenna tuning units that match 6-1,600 ohm antennas and employs a coaxial antenna connector and a binding post for end-fed long-wire antennas.

MFJ 993BRT tuners are mounted in a durable, hard plastic case that measures just 9 1/4 in. wide x 3 in. high x 14 1/4 in. deep. They cover 1.8 to 30 MHz, have heavy-duty 16 amp/1,000 V relays, and feature an efficient L-network. These tuners let you tune any antenna automatically; balanced or unbalanced and fast. MFJ's exclusive IntelliTuner™, AdaptiveSearch™, and InstantRecall™ algorithms give you quick automatic tuning with over 10,000 VirtualAntenna™ memories. As you're rag-chewing, contesting, or DXing, your MFJ IntelliTuner™ is learning! When you transmit, the MFJ 993BRTs automatically tune for minimum SWR and remember your frequency and tuning settings. The next time you operate on that frequency and antenna, the tuner settings are instantly restored and you're ready to operate in milliseconds!

MFJ's new VirtualAntenna™ memory system provides 2,500 memories MFJ's InstantRecall™ and first checks its memory to see if you have operated this frequency before. If so, tuning is instantaneous and you're ready to operate. If not, MFJ's IntelliTuner™ algorithm based on MFJ's SWR Analyzer technology kicks in. First, it measures the complex impedance of your antenna. Next, it calculates the components it needs and instantly snaps them in. Then, it fine-tunes to minimize SWR, and you're ready to operate in a fraction of a second. When the impedance is within their measurement range, the MFJ 993BRT tuners are one of the fastest automatic antenna tuners in the world!

If impedance can't be accurately determined, MFJ's AdaptiveSearch™ algorithm goes into action. Frequency is measured and relevant component values are determined. Only those values are searched for ultra-fast tuning. For even faster searches, you can set the target SWR to 2 (settable from 1.0 to 2.0). They also include the MFJ BiasTee Power Injector to send DC/RF down your coax.
