M2 Antennas 2M18XXX 2 Meter Yagi Antennas are 18 element high performance beams with booms over 5 wavelengths long! Known as the "Standard" to dedicated VHF operators, these antennas have been used extensively for over a decade by moon bouncers and many other weak signal enthusiasts around the world!

Depicted here in a two-antenna vertical stack, the 2M18XXX beams have clean, sharp patterns that yield a very good G/T (gain/temperature in K, Kelvin). That means, in everyday language, that you hear more signal and less noise. They are ideal for a competitive single antenna installation or in stacked arrays, which will yield an additional 6 dB of gain in a four antenna installation! All hardware is stainless, except for the U-bolts. Mechanically, the 2M18XXX booms are strong in the middle and tapered in 1/4" steps to reduce weight and wind area. M2 has integrated their computer-optimized design with their unique driven element feedpoint module. CNC machined aluminum housings feature "O" ring seals on all three connectors and internal connections are potted in a space-age silicone gel that seals out moisture and enhances power handling capability.
