REZ Antenna Systems Heavy Duty Telescoping Whips
REZ Antenna Systems Heavy Duty Telescoping Whips are heavy duty, 17 ft. telescoping whip featuring a 3/8-24 inch threaded base and black, heavy wall stainless steel tubing suitable for POTA (Parks on The Air), SOTA (Summits on The Air), Field Day, or other portable operations. The REZ Z17 Telescoping whips threaded base is welded to the first section for a solid, rugged connection. When fully extended, the Z17 is a full 1/4 wave on 20 meters. To achieve resonance on higher bands simply collapse the sections, or to work the lower bands (40-80M) pair this whip with a Ranger 80 HF Tuning Coil Assembly.
