Sangean U-3 Portable Radios
Sangean U-3 Portable Radios are task-specific radios designed to withstand the punishments of remote job site conditions! These radios resist rain, dust, and shock.
Built with shock-mount roll-cage armor, they feature a high-performance AM/FM radio that includes leading-edge features like a digital PLL tuner and dynamic bass compensation for richer bass. Ten radio station presets (5 AM/5 FM) and dual alarm features with a snooze function and adjustable sleep timers round-out their capabilities.
While the radios are operating on batteries, the long AC-cord can quickly and easily be rolled up in the cord compartment located on the back of the units. This prevents accidentally tripping over it while at a job site. The U-3s are equipped with a 6.5 in., water-resistant speaker with a high-quality, full-range sound. These radios can provide sufficient audio, especially in noisy environments.
Sangean U-3 Portable Radios offer an Aux-in jack for your MP3, iPod/iPhone, or other audio source. Their large, backlit LCD screen ensures excellent visibility and displays both clock and radio information. A headphone jack is available for private listening, and a 12 VDC jack allows for external power. There is also a quarter-inch (6.5mm) microphone jack! They are public-address capable with a user-supplied microphone!
Why beat up and replace ordinary radios time after time? Get one of these ruggedized Sangean U-3 Portable Radios from DX Engineering and let the beat go on...
