Butyl Mastic Tape 2212 is a high tack sealant with excellent adhesion to cable jackets and other insulating materials. It maintains its tack and flexibility to temperatures as low as 0°F (-18°C), ensuring a high quality seal over a wide range of temperatures. It may be overwrapped with vinyl tape to create a weatherproof seal with excellent resistance to environmental factors such as water, condensation, dust, UV and sunlight over a range of temperatures.
