VE2DX Electronics IM1-HDMI V2 Icom Digital Meter HDMI Display and TrueCIV Data Interface is a small electronic device with Bluetooth, USB and CI-V ports to interface an Icom transceiver as well as connect any size HDMI flat panel monitor or TV. This unique Icom radio HDMI Meter Display unit can be configured to show two bar graph or two needle meters as well as other transceiver status indicators. This specially programmed VE2DX Electronics Design Inc. ESP32 device ingeniously samples the Icom transceiver CI-V data to display available meter and status information in multiple formats, depending upon radio model. This exciting device also includes a custom VE2DX Electronics CT17B-Nano version 2 internal 2 port hub with TrueCIV, which creates a new CI-V TTL standard that is unparalleled for RFI resistance. Multiple accessory items can be simultaneously served the interfaced transceiver's CI-V data stream supporting many types of Icom CI-V reading station devices including frequency based band decoders, smart antenna switch controllers, amplifiers, tuners, band pass filters and more. Powered via the USB C port, this unit interfaces to over 20 different ICOM radios using any one of three methods to connect: CI-V via standard 3.5mm Remote port cable, Bluetooth CI-V or USBoIP using UDP. This unit provides an electronic remedy for the missing physical CI-V port on the IC-705. Instead, this Bluetooth device pairs with the IC-705 to send data to its two TrueCIV ports and single USB port. Another important feature of the VE2DX Electronics Design ICOM HDMI METER IM1-HDMIV2 is the programmable alarm any time your SWR goes over 3:1. Finally, integrated magnets in the back and bottom of the IM1-HDMIV2 simplifies installation on your portable equipment or in your shack.
NOTE: VE2DX Electronics IM1 Meter devices are not transceiver screen adapters and do not display a bandscope. This meter display unit frees the main display of the 7300, 9700 and 705 for bandscope operations
