The Yaesu FTDX-101D SDR Transceiver brings new excitement and surprising advances in a particularly attractive package. Its unique hybrid narrow-band SDR configuration achieves unsurpassed dual receiver performance. The Direct Sampling SDR section provides astounding visual awareness of activity across the band as well as detail around the operating frequency on each receiver. The large, precision color touch-panel display also features gorgeous dual multi-function meters, dual frequency readouts and multi-functional touch controls, plus the exclusive 3DSS - Three Dimension Spectrum Stream waterfall and panadapter scope. The entire class-leading screen of the FTDX-101D may be displayed on a user supplied external monitor! Ergonomically arranged transceiver controls are centered about a large, tactile and weighted VFO. The Main knob is enhanced with the MPVD; Multi-Purpose VFO Outer Dial which controls the sub receiver VFO, clarifier, VC-Tune RF Preselector**, VFO fine tuning and a user defined Custom Selection function. A welcome feature, each function of the identical Main (A) and Sub (B) receivers have separate independent front panel controls; AF and RF gain, Shift, Width, Notch, Contour, Digital Noise Reduction and APF. Built for the serious contester, dual LED push-buttons comprise the Active Band Indicator for each receiver, enabling effortless and rapid independent band changes. Adjustments of mode-specific settings and levels are displayed and accomplished quickly with the press-and-turn Multi-function selector.
