Additional Information

The HexTenna Deluxe features telescopic whips that can be adjusted for the specific band you are using. These whips are angled to convert the naturally occurring 72-ohm dipole component to a 50-ohm impedance. It is not a ‘no tune all-band antenna’. For instance, when deployed for 20 meters, it has two self-supporting telescopic whips with a total deployed length of approximately 34ft. The resonance occurs naturally as you adjust the whips for the desired band. Additionally, when deployed on 40 meters, the antenna becomes an M-Dipole with each side measuring 35ft. 9in.

The HexTenna Deluxe can also be configured as a Delta Loop with the purchase and installation of the Delta Loop Antenna Wire, Auto Match, and the RF Jumper to enable your external tuner to provide touch free matching from 80 - 6m, and a power rating of 250W PEP SSB, 125W CW, and 25W Digital. The Delta Loop accessories are sold separately.
