Built with precision high‑Q inductors and capacitors (Q > 4000), the filter achieves exceptionally low insertion loss through careful engineering and tuning. Intended to be used with linear amplifiers 8877, GS35, GS31, 2xGI7B, and with other tubes with up to 4 kW output.

When placed ahead of sensitive front-end equipment, it provides effective protection and signal conditioning, shielding LNAs such as the PGA‑103+ from strong out-of-band signals while improving the performance of wideband SDR receivers on the 6‑meter band.
