bhi 5W DSP Noise Cancelling Speaker Retrofit Modules incorporate unique Digital Signal Processing (DSP) technology which can identify speech from within a noisy signal and can provide up to 40 dB of noise reduction over 8 filter levels and 65 dB of tone reduction. Easily retrofitted inside many types of extension speakers or older-style radios and transceivers, these modules come pre-wired and their onboard power amplifier allows them to be easily incorporated into existing equipment.

All module functions are controlled by the pre-wired keyboard switch assembly and two LED’S indicate the filter level and audio input overload. The NEDSP1962KBD uses a programmable DSP audio processing chip with DSP noise-canceling technology inside that makes the processed audio clearer and more intelligible. This high−performance chip delivers exceptional sound quality and incorporates a full audio signal chain with 16−bit A/D converters and digital interfaces that utilize the fully flexible digital processing architecture. The onboard audio amplifier stage is provided by a Texas Instruments 7W Mono Class-D audio power amplifier chip, which is 94% efficient, eliminating the need for heatsinks. It’s powered from a suitable 10-18 VDC power supply and when the module is switched off the audio bypass feature routes the audio signal directly through to the loudspeaker. The NEDSP1962-KBD is supplied as a pre-wired assembly with a 2.1 mm power jack, audio input and output wires, keyboard switch assembly and a full mounting kit with professional labels and a user manual.
