Chameleon Antenna TACYAGI-70 UHF Tactical Foldable Yagi Antennas are a compact, high-performance UHF foldable Yagi antenna designed for emergency communication, tactical operations, and portable field use. Ideal for portable operating scenarios like POTA, SOTA, camping, RVing, or operating from balconies in apartments or condos, it offers exceptional versatility and portability. With a frequency range of 400–470MHz, 7dBi of gain, and a front-to-back ratio greater than 15dB, it significantly extends the range of handheld UHF FM transceivers and supports horizontal polarization for CW, SSB, or digital modes with radios like the Yaesu FT-817/818, Yaesu FTX-1F, or Icom IC-705.

The CHA TACYAGI-70 is compatible with all Chameleon Antenna mounting systems, including the JAWMOUNT, SPIKE MOUNT, UCM, carbon fiber tripod, portable mast, and SURVEYOR-A for surveyor tripods. Its removable handle features a 1/4-20 threaded insert, allowing it to be mounted on a wide range of platforms—from ground-level setups to rooftops and vehicles. It also includes a pistol grip for handheld or man-pack use and can be mounted on a camera tripod or trekking pole.

Measuring just 17.8 inches in length when folded and weighing only 13.7oz., the antenna is compact enough to fit in a daypack or backpack. This makes it not only ideal for field deployment but also for indoor stealth operations, especially in HOA-restricted environments where discretion is essential. Whether you're a first responder, amateur radio operator, or prepper, the CHA TACYAGI-70 delivers reliable, high-performance communication in any environment.
