Built for portable amateur radio enthusiasts, the LEFS Feather is a QRP-rated End-Fed Half-Wave (EFHW) antenna that operates on the 40, 20, 15, and 10-meter amateur bands without an antenna tuner, while also supporting 30, 17, 12, and the 10-meter FM segment when used with a tuner. Its innovative design features a custom integrated Line Winder and End Insulator, along with a high-performance 49:1 matching transformer that eliminates the need for a compensation coil.

Constructed from highly visible orange 26-gauge PTFE-coated Kevlar-reinforced wire, the LEFS Feather combines exceptional strength with ultra-lightweight portability. This rugged design makes it an excellent choice for outdoor operating activities such as Parks on the Air (POTA), Summits on the Air (SOTA), backpacking, camping, and field deployments.

Because it occupies very little space in a backpack, go bag, or everyday carry kit, the LEFS Feather is also ideal for emergency preparedness and emergency communications. Whether you're deploying in the field, operating under HOA restrictions, activating a remote summit, or setting up in a local park, this full-size HF antenna provides reliable performance in an ultra-compact package.

For best results, install the end transformer approximately three feet above ground to help reduce feedline strain and optimize antenna performance. The antenna is rated for up to 25 watts SSB and 10 watts CW or digital modes, making it an excellent companion for modern QRP transceivers and portable operating setups.
