Our patented* revolutionary new PL-259 connector and our premium 213U coaxial cable were designed to make the new DX Engineering RG-213U PL-259 Low-Loss 50-ohm Coax Assemblies the best 213/U cable assemblies available for virtually every HF antenna application.

DX Engineering 213U is a high-grade standard coaxial cable type, which features a very rugged, highly UV-resistant, non-contaminating Type II-A PVC jacket. These cable assemblies are ideal for all outdoor feedline applications, commonly used for HF and direct-bury installations. With heavy 12.5 AWG stranded copper center conductor, RG-213U PL-259 cable assemblies are perfectly suited for long cable connections to antennas from HF equipment running at very low to high power levels.

Our DXE-213U cable features a solid polyethylene dielectric that cannot absorb moisture and it withstands constant movement and flexing on tower mounted rotatable and directional beam antennas. DXE-213U is used at contest station K3LR for installation at the tower top as "rotator loop" coax for HF and VHF. It has excellent shielding with minimum 96 percent coverage copper braid. DX Engineering RG-213U PL-259 DX Series Low-Loss Coaxial Cable Assemblies are terminated with our new, custom-designed, silver-plated brass-bodied DX Engineering PL-259 (UHF male) connectors.
These patented* Next Generation PL-259 connectors feature:
-Full diameter, full length soldered center pins that snugly fit even worn SO-239s
-Spacious center pin inside diameter that accepts large conductors and allows generous solder flow
-Deep, double knurled threaded shells for secure finger tightening
These new, ultra-high quality PL-259s have all silver-plated brass shells and bodies with center pins securely mounted in PTFE dielectric for exceptional RF characteristics and power handling.

Our 213U DX Series cable assembly PL-259 center pins are hand soldered by trained assembly techs to assure a proper connection. These special PL-259 cable assemblies also feature machine crimped shields, with 360 degrees of complete mechanical and electrical contact for maximum reliability.
