DX Engineering RG-214 Double Shielded 50-ohm Coaxial Cable Assemblies feature superior RF isolation and rugged flexibility for critical applications in the shack and on the tower. These high-quality assemblies, with PL-259s or Type N connectors, feature our specially manufactured MIL-SPEC DXE-214. This is a tough yet flexible coax with 12-gauge silver plated stranded copper center conductor, solid polyethylene dielectric and TWO layers of silver plated braided copper shields to provide exceptional RF isolation performance and superior power handling.

DXE-214 coax assemblies are perfect for use where many cables are bundled together and higher RF isolation is desired. Use DXE-214 cables for antenna feedlines on towers, especially for rotator loops, as the solid polyethylene dielectric provides repeated flexing without concern of center conductor migration. Plus, these cable assemblies excel at maintaining RF isolation in the shack or in the equipment room of stations with many antenna feedlines. DXE-214 is specifically recommended for use in VHF/UHF duplex repeater applications.

DX Engineering RG-214 Double Shielded Cable Assemblies are terminated with either Amphenol 83-1SP silver plated PL-259 connectors or our silver plated Type N connectors. Shields and center pins are hand soldered by trained assembly techs. Every assembly is continuity and Hi-Pot tested and then heat-shrink weather-sealed for the ultimate service longevity.
