DX Engineering 400MAX coax features a waterproof jacket made with a highly UV-resistant, Type III-A polyethylene which is ideal for all outdoor feedline applications, including direct-bury installations. With a large 10 AWG stranded copper center conductor, 400MAX NX Series low-loss assemblies are perfectly suited for short or long cable runs and low or high-power level operations. Our 400MAX coaxial cable also features modern, gas-injected foam polyethylene dielectric that cannot absorb moisture and has complete shielding with 100 percent coverage bonded aluminum tape covered by minimum 95-percent coverage tinned copper braid. Regarded in the industry as a top quality low-loss feedline, DX Engineering 400MAX Coaxial Cable is custom made to provide the highest performance and excellent longevity. Coaxial cables with foil-braid dual shielding or foam dielectric are optimized for stationary simplex antenna applications across HF, VHF and UHF.

DX Engineering 400MAX PL-259 NX Series Coaxial Adapter Cable Assemblies are terminated at one end with the N-Type male connector and the other end with our custom-designed DX Engineering PL-259 (UHF male) connector. Both silver plated connectors feature machine-crimped shields with 360 degrees of complete mechanical and electrical contact for maximum reliability. PL-259 center pins are hand-soldered, and Type-N center pins are machine-crimped by trained assembly techs to assure a proper connection.

Next Generation PL-259 connectors feature:

* Full diameter, full-length soldered center pins that snugly fit even worn SO-239s
* Spacious center pin inside diameter that accepts large conductors and allows generous solder flow
* Deep, double-knurled threaded shells for secure finger tightening
