DX Engineering UT-808X cable strippers are the preferred method for preparing RG-8X size cables; including LMR-240, RG-8X and DXE-8X. These strippers easily remove the outer jacket and dielectric to prepare for coaxial connectors.

Our new DXE-CGH-8X hinged cable gripper is the perfect companion! These grippers allow you to have a much larger surface to hold onto while the gripper itself securely holds your cable for easy trimming.
