DX Engineering RG-8X High Visibility Orange 50-ohm Coaxial Cable Assemblies

DX Engineering RG-8X High Visibility Orange 50-ohm Coaxial Cable Assemblies are the most flexible and lowest loss high-quality orange coaxial cable assemblies on the market. DXE-8XV cable assemblies feature a stranded copper 16 AWG center conductor, gas injected foam dielectric, braided copper shield and non-contaminating, highly water-resistant Type II-A PVC UV stable direct-bury jacket. Our DXE-8XV High Visibility Orange cable assemblies are intended for HF portable applications where the visibility of short antenna cables and flexibility are desired.

RG-8X High Visibility Orange 50-ohm Coaxial Cable Assemblies are terminated with high quality silver plated PTFE dielectric PL-259s, and select lengths with BNC connectors for POTA and portable operations. Their machine-crimped shields feature 360 degrees of complete mechanical and electrical contact for maximum reliability.
All DX Engineering Cable Assemblies are Hi-Pot tested and heat-shrink weather-sealed for the ultimate in service longevity.

DX Engineering DXE-8XV Orange Jacket Coax has the same industry standard specifications as DXE-8X black jacket coax. DXE-8X is the coax cable most often used for jumpers in the shack and for medium length cables for portable operations, offering significantly better flexibility than larger cables, excellent shielding, and lower loss than smaller RG-58 and RG-174.

DXE-8XV is the part number for this coaxial cable sold by the foot, and it is available in 1,000 ft. spools as DXE-8XV-1000.
