DX Engineering Tower Accessory Shelves

DX Engineering Tower Accessory Shelves are custom made by DX Engineering in two sizes and styles to fit different size ROHN and Amerite Towers. Made from 3/16 in. thick, laser-cut "304" Stainless Steel, each DXE Accessory Shelf comes with all stainless steel tower mounting hardware for long-lasting, durable strength. Both accessory shelves have four slotted holes (no drilling required*) to mount the most popular rotators from Yaesu, DX Engineering, M2 Antennas and Hy-Gain, and two additional holes are provided for rotator models with six mounting bolts. Rotator or positioner mounting bolts are not included with these plates; they are provided by the manufacturer with each rotator unit.

Two models of DX Engineering Tower Accessory Shelves are available. Click the part details below to see more images of each model:

- DXE-AS25G fits ROHN 25G and Amerite 25 towers, with formed integral brackets for v-bolt clamps. This plate is used ONLY for mounting a rotator at the top of a 25 top section or where there are no cross braces on a 25 straight section that would interfere with installation and operation of the rotator. NOTE: ROHN 25G does not accommodate mid-section bearings, so there are no holes for bearings. NO BEARINGS can be mounted on the DXE-AS25G. If you want to use a bearing, use a flat top tower section that accommodates a bearing, or install ROHN 45G or 55G Tower and DXE-AS455G Accessory Shelves.

- DXE-AS455G is adjustable to fit ROHN 45G and 55G towers and Amerite -45 and -55 towers. This model accessory shelf mounts all of the rotators listed and features additional holes for mounting DX Engineering Thrust Bearings (DXE-TB300 and DXE TB400). These shelves are mounted with 3/16 in. stainless steel L-brackets and double stainless steel V-bolts at each tower leg. DXE-AS455G may be used anywhere in any 45 or 55 section for a rotator or as a bearing shelf, including as a Top Bearing Plate.

As with all stainless steel hardware, a good quality anti-seize lubricant, such as Jet-Lube SS-30 (part number JTL-12555) should be used to avoid galling. When installing, mount the shelf level in the tower. Tighten all bolts evenly.

*NOTE: Larger holes are only needed when mounting the OR2800 series M2 Antennas rotator. No holes are provided for Hy-Gain HDR-300 series rotators.)
