DX Engineering Hexxagonal Beam 5-Band Rigid Balanced Feeder Systems

DX Engineering Hexxagonal Beam 5-Band Rigid Balanced Feeder Systems are professionally engineered and solve the pattern-skewing problems created by the unbalanced coaxial cable feeders used by others. They also prevent high SWR from questionable weatherproofing or metallic center posts.

DX Engineering Hexxagonal Beam 5-Band Rigid Balancer Feeder Systems eliminate the bad effects of common mode currents caused by unbalanced feeders, or the performance-degrading metallic post disguised as a feeder. Instead, they are completely assembled and tested parallel conductor units that attach to your insulated fiberglass center post.

While you can easily measure SWR, it is difficult to measure the effects of common mode current and other variables on your antenna pattern and performance. These properly engineered feeders eliminate those variables and allow your G3TXQ broadband hexagonal beam design to provide the maximum performance that the expert modeling promises.

Internationally patented* DX Engineering Hexxagonal Beam 5-Band Rigid Balanced Feeder Systems provide a weatherproof, low-loss, high-power balanced connection to all bands for optimum antenna pattern control. These revolutionary rigid feeders attach directly to the outside of the full size 1 1/4 in. fiberglass center post. It is no longer necessary to drill or slice up a center post, in order to protect older coaxial cable feeders with homebrew connections. DX Engineering Hexxagonal beam 5-band rigid balanced feeder systems are ideal for retrofitting to other, older hexagonal beam designs by using DX Engineering wire element dimensions, or with your own testing and modifications. Just fasten your element wires to the unique wire grips and terminals. They come complete with a short coaxial cable pigtail.

The Hexx Hub and mast are shown for relative position only and are not included.

Additional features include:

* Completely assembled and tested
* High reliability, handles maximum power
* Low loss
* Weatherproof
* Constant impedance, guarantees lowest possible SWR
* Feed points at optimum G3TXQ design spacing
* Ease of installation on fiberglass center post
* Balanced feed for each balanced element with no skewed pattern
* Require only one choke balun for best performance on all bands
* Easily replace all older broadband HexBeam, Hexx, or other hexagonal feeder designs
* All stainless steel and PTFE construction
* Unique serpentine insulators remove strain from wire terminal attachments
