DX Engineering NCC-2 Receive Filter Sets

DX Engineering NCC-2 Receive Filter Sets provide an added dimension to the receive capabilities of the NCC-2 Receive Antenna Phasing System. These advanced plug-in filter module and adapter board pairs offer frequency-specific receive enhancements. The packages are available in pairs of high pass, band pass, and low pass frequency ranges with filter cut-off and center frequencies that correspond to the major Amateur low bands, 160, 80, 40 meters. Filter insertion loss is only about 1 dB.

NCC-2 Receive Filter Sets are pairs of the original NCC-1 filters of the same type, each with the required RXFL-1 Filter Adapter. Both NCC-2 channels, "CH A RX ANT IN" and "CH B RX ANT IN" will benefit from the same pass-band characteristics. High pass, band pass, or low pass filter sets are available for users to choose and install into their NCC-2 for their desired application. By reducing or excluding frequency-specific interfering noise and signals, the noise floor of the desired passband can be dramatically lowered for greatly improved reception. Be aware that when filter pairs are installed, the NCC-2 no longer responds to signals out of the passband. In other words, at this time there is no electronically switched bypass for installed filters.
