DX Engineering Zip Cord Power Wire

DX Engineering Zip Cord Power Wire is 2-conductor stranded copper insulated cable typically used for low voltage power circuits. It may also be used as speaker wire for low to high power audio. The conductor insulation colors are red and black for immediate polarity identification for both DC and audio applications. This wire is very easy to use. It is a highly flexible, high strand-count insulated wire pair that pulls apart easily, should you want to, hence the name "Zip Cord." Conductor construction details are below.

DX Engineering Power Wire is available in six sizes; 18, 16, 14, 12, 10 and 8 AWG (0.8, 1.3, 2.1, 3.3, 5.3 and 8.4 sq. mm equivalent). This wire is sold by-the-foot and is also available in bulk lengths of 500 or 1,000 ft., so you can order just the right size and length for your system!
