DX Engineering Receive Eight Circle Controller and Switch Package, DXE-RCA8C-SYS-2P, is for the array builder who wants to use their own passive receive verticals for a mono-band receive array.

The DX Engineering Eight Circle Array will dramatically improve reception of weak distant signals with unparalleled rejection of extraneous signals and noise. This eight-direction switchable array uses a special end-fire/broadside combination of eight short receiving vertical elements. The resulting narrow directional receiving pattern is superior to standard or short Beverage antennas, Reversible Beverage systems and typical two, three or four element arrays. Receive arrays of short vertical elements limit signal and noise for dramatically superior weak signal reception as compared to full size transmitting antennas and arrays. With proper spacing of eight vertical elements, the Receive Eight Circle Array is the ultimate high performance, directional receive antenna for HF Amateur, SWL or AM DXing.

DX Engineering Receive Eight Circle Arrays offer directional performance comparable to eight very long phased Beverages, using far less land area. These packages are designed to be used with eight identical, user-supplied, active or passive symmetrically-spaced vertical elements to provide switching for an 8-direction receiving antenna system. Passive elements will generally provide you with a monoband receiving system. With a DX Engineering Active Vertical package you can achieve excellent directional receiving performance over three bands.
