DX Engineering Receive Short Element Active Vertical Tubing and Mounting Plate Kit

DX Engineering Receive Short Element Active Vertical Tubing and Mounting Plate Kit, model DXE-RSE-R, is provided for those who decide to mount a separately purchased DXE-AVA-3 Active Matching Unit or a legacy AVA-2. This kit serves as a replacement for a damaged or lost plate and whip for the model RSEAV-1 or legacy model ARAV4 Active antenna.

This DXE-RSE-R kit contains the pre-drilled poly-resin insulated plastic mounting plate, three 36 in. aluminum sections, 1/4, 3/8 and 1/2 inch, as well as a complete set of new stainless steel element and mounting hardware. The required Allen wrenches are also included. The assembled length of this vertical element is 8 feet 6 inches (2.6m), the same as the original.

A related kit, DXE-RSE-A, includes only the antenna tubing and hardware, provided for those who need to replace a damaged or lost whip for their current model RSEAV-1 or legacy model ARAV4 Active antenna.

The completed assembly, DXE-RSE-R and AVA- 3 is equivalent to a DXE-RSEAV-1, which mounts at ground level on a user supplied ground rod. It should be located in a clear area away from structures, transmit antennas and metal fences for best performance. See DXE-RSEAV-1 for additional information.
