DX Engineering Manual Winch Add-on Raising Kits

DX Engineering Manual Winch Add-On Raising Kits allow for the easy, one-person raising and lowering of specific DX Engineering high-performance vertical antennas and may be easily moved from one of those antennas to another in multi-antenna arrays.

These winch, strap and hardware kits do not include the mounting bracket or clamps that are supplied only with these compatible heavy-duty pivot base antennas:

DXE-7580FS-VA-2
DXE-7580FS-VA-3
DXE-7580VA-1
DXE-8040VA-1

Note: The DXE-7580FS-VA-1 is not compatible with this winch kit, as that model uses a different tilt base.

Features of and parts with these Manual Winch Add-on Kits are:

* Friction brake, which automatically applies constant positive holding action throughout raising and lowering operations
* Holds the antenna in position automatically
* Handle will not spin under load
* Meets ASAE safety standard S361.3
* Rated at 1,500 lbs.
* Minimum operating load is 75 lbs.
* 2 1/2 in. drum hub diameter
* 5.1:1 gear ratio
* Zinc Tuffplate finish
* Winch strap (2 in. wide x 15 ft. long) with hook and loop, manufactured from low-stretch polyester webbing with 4,000 lbs. breaking strength
* Stainless steel hardware for mounting the strap
* Stainless steel hardware for mounting the winch to the high performance DX Engineering vertical antennas that use the heavy-duty pivot base.
