DX Engineering Mobile Whip Antennas are the classic 102 in. whip made from the finest heat treated 17-7 PH tapered stainless steel, which resists bending and kinking. 17-7 PH is a precipitation-hardening stainless steel that provides high strength and hardness, excellent fatigue properties, good corrosion resistance, and minimum distortion upon heat treatment.
These stainless steel whip antennas are tough. Dissipation tips reduce unwanted static buildup and they fit all 3/8-24 in. threaded mounts.
The WP-102 is the standard 102 in. whip, shipped in a 104 in. tube. They resist bending and kinking and are ideal for mobile and portable operations and for Active Receive Antenna Systems. They are also great for use with mobile antenna tuners.
