Elecraft XG3 Programmable Signal Generators

Elecraft's XG3 programmable signal generator is a versatile signal source with four calibrated output levels that cover the 160 through 2 meter bands. It's ideal for receiver calibration, sensitivity tests, signal tracing, and as a VFO for home-brew projects. The USB interface cable allows computer setup of frequency, sweep range, speed and steps or jumps to bands, output level, and more! It's also useful outdoors—for antenna evaluation, field strength measurements, micro-power CW beacons for T-hunts, etc.

XG3 features and specs include:

* 1.5-200 MHz range, with a typical resolution of 1-24 Hz. Calibrated output range 1.5-200 MHz.
* 12 programmable bands for 160-2 meters
* Four calibrated power output levels:
- 107 dBm (1 uV)
- 73 dBm (50 uV, S9)
- 33 dBm (S9+40)
- 0 dBm (S9+73) = 1mW @ 50 ohms
* Two programmable sweep functions
* CW and RTTY Beacon modes
* Downloadable software and firmware upgrades
* USB interface cable included
* Power: Internal 9-volt battery or external 11-14 Vdc via 2.1mm
* Power Consumption: 60mA max. at 0 dBm out, 25 mA typical.

* Connectors include BNC female 50 ohm output, 2.1mm DC input and 3.5mm female TRS for USB interface cable.

NOTE: Precautions must be taken prevent RF damage to this unit, which is not covered under warranty. Do not allow the transceiver to be placed into transmit when the XG3 is connected.
