ELAD ASA62 Amplified Antenna Splitters
ELAD ASA62 Amplified Antenna Splitters are designed to distribute the signal from six antennas to two different receivers simultaneously. A powerful Amateur Radio or SWL station requires multiple antennas to optimally cover each frequency range. The ASA62 Amplified Antenna Splitters from ELAD (Italy) use operational amplifiers to make up for splitter losses in this unit. Each input is buffered by a very low-noise amplifier (AD8099), ensuring that the signals do not interfere with each other. By doing so, the signal from one antenna can be sent to both receivers simultaneously. Switching is done via relays, not PIN diodes, to avoid unwanted signal distortion.
Operation is straightforward with push buttons on the front panel, and LEDs built into the buttons clearly indicate their status. Alternatively, the ASA62 can be operated remotely, with free software available for download on the Microsoft Windows platform. The frequency range is 9kHz to 70MHz, all connectors are BNC female, and the impedance is 50 Ohms. A DC power supply cable is included.
Note: The ASA62 is not suitable for transmitting.
